the more people involved the more problematic everything becomes. even something as simple as this took months to work out and they didnt even get any satisfactory answer. seriously if you dont even know if you own the rights then why even care about it ffs

Kuperman and Kick immediately responded to the letter to let Warner's lawyer know that they had no intention of infringing on the copyright, and that they were already in touch with other people at Warner to discuss a possible licensing deal. "I spoke with their attorney and their attorney said, well gee, he didn't

i can see how it helps a lot of people as well but it seems like its the cheapest and easiest answer to the "big" questions so im not sure i can bring myself to respect them. i dont try to convince them otherwise either (it feels a bit cruel, like telling a child santa aint real) but when they try to act self

well a MMR system thats based on wins for 1v1 work fine IMO. the problem is with big teams with random players lol

well since everybodies got a rating they can just put you with newbies like yourself? no idea how LoL matchmaking works though

man i was reading this and this reminded me how i hate the direction the whole AAA industry is going with all the loot and exp nonsense

what possible advantages would that bring? valve wants to push it to linux, why would you want to be stuck with the same OS for ever? (and thats hoping microsoft doesnt change anything else)

team fortress 2 never crossed my mind. i played both kane and lynch games recently so maybe i was thinking about them.

its not that im "against", its just that its not very realistic nor representative of our current culture.

(ugh published last reply by mistake and i dont know how to even edit in kotaku)

homemakers but the professional cheffs were men lol

i agree that the sexualization is ridiculous (i loved faith from mirrors edge!) but including more women for the sake of including them is ridiculous as well. especially considering the settings of most games which dont normally make sense to have as many women as men

nah i think this was just to keep people hooked. people loved that sense of "progress" from virtual numbers and blizzard knows it so what better way to keep em hooked than with a system that never stops your "progress" lol

really?

maybe im sexist but considering most games are a bit actiony and about killing people and fighting and whatnot, a woman character just doesnt make a lot of sense to me

yea i know itll be slow but still, i dont see the advantages of having such a system. its a system that encourages pure mindless grind and theres no way around that

this is pretty crazy o0

how is less people a bad thing? if anything the world right now NEEDS less people :p

never played the series but the one life mode thing depends a lot on the genre though. adventure games normally have trial and error mechanics which are kinda bad for such a mode since theyre more based on memory than reflexes. which i guess its fine but to me its not fun at all (being memory based that is)
