I totally get your point but I think Pyramidheadcrab was speaking about abuse and the resources for women who have been abused and how they help families. I think your comment in reply to his will be taken as insulting rather than thought provoking.

Abuse does come in many forms. However why do so many people find it important to make every story somehow about them? If supportive comments from the internet make you feel better you may need to find a better support network. Perhaps the church you work at has something?
