Not sure about Waze but when you tap the music icon, it lets me choose between Google Play Music, Pandora, or Pocket Casts (the only media apps I have installed). So I’m sure Podkicker will be supported if not now, soon, same with Waze.

That’s possible? Wow I had no idea. Ford has said they will provide a “mid-cycle upgrade” for 2016's to add Android Auto and Carplay. Can you shoot me a link on how to do this usb port swap? How do you add the software for Android Auto? Because there’s no option for it in the settings but there should be.

I have a compulsion to point out that Ford has, in fact, solved half of the shit-falling-under-the-seat problem. New Escapes and I think a couple others come with a little tray between the seat and door. Catches dropped keys, phones, french fries. Still haven’t filled in the gap between the seat and center console…
