Every game gets bad press these days. Changing direction or trying to force something out to try and counter bad press is just a recipe for crunch and mistakes. 

I would genuinely put it on about the same level. They both lack specific qualities that everyone takes for granted from talented professionals. That is:

The jumping puzzles for the hidden holocrons in SWTOR were one of the most exciting and weird things about the game, and the exploration when the game was coming out. Especially since the intended solution for some of them was obfuscated so people came up with really circuitous routes. 

Even Laurenz who I thought I’d hate, I would jump off a bridge for  All he wants is to live up to what he thinks nobles should be, selfless for their house and the commoners they're sworn to protect. And he grows up so much!

Ive only recently learned that we can banish their comments to the shadowrealm. And have been thrilled by it. 

Thats a respectable and fair analysis. I'll rescind my "meh" for the time being, till we see more of what he intends with it. Tbf the live shows are rarely a good indication of character as well, and besides last night's (which I haven't seen yet) that's most we had to go on.

The third paragraph is the most important. If everyone is playing joke characters its fine. But people do this type of thing in full campaigns and it can incredibly destructive and anti-fun.

Its a scale, so its being reported as both. The higher their affinity for you, the lower the stats need to be for you to get them, but you still need a think a minimum of c for some characters . So those skills you never level up will get in the way.
