I test drove an S65 last fall, on a damp day. There is something genuinely surreal about doing 45 down the on-ramp, and putting your foot into the car, to get to highway speeds, and realizing you’re still doing 45 because you just lost traction, and are now skating down the onramp with 0 control and the back wheels…
That car for me ended up being an F10 550xi (2012). It had this weird combination of ease of use as DD and the ability to scare the shit out of you. They can be had fairly cheaply but make sure that it was a dealer serviced car with all recalls taken care of and that you hit the 5000 mile service intervals…
