I’ve been putting 50% tint on my windshield for years. Never had a problem with local LEOs. Most people can’t even tell from the outside. Helps a ton with sunglare and headlight glare at night. D-Gate is a huge gift to consumers. Only a catastrophic fail like that could get VW out of its own ass and offer an actual competitive warranty, lower prices while adding more features, and actually address reliability concerns. Correct! I have a chip tune on it that gets me to about ~295hp to the wheels. It’s 300hp crank from factory of course. I do get GT envy sometimes, but the thing flies, all V6 mustang jokes aside.

My car makes just about 300 to the wheels, RWD, NA, late model (bonus points if you can guess what it is) and I probably think half a dozen times a week, “Damn, I sure would love another 100hp”. 300 is sufficient to have real fun and even get in trouble, but I don’t think I’ll ever get over the yearning for MOAR POWER…

You can throw the current gen V6 Camaro and Mustangs in with the later G35/37 models. The Camaro is an awesome sports car, and the V6 has plenty of power. I have a current gen V6 Mustang, with a chip tune and exhaust and it sounds great and is fun to ring out to 7000 rpm. I know people like to rag on the “rental” pony…

And all that power is still going to go through that garbage gearbox. Lexus has been shooting itself in the foot with its performance cars with the slushy autos they put in them.
