Ah yes, the long and shameful history of disenfranchised descendants of an oppressed minority with bad fake tans.

“what kind of boots they’ll be wearing”

Because the last 30 or so years voting for people who’ve acted against their interests didn’t do it, but Trump might?

He wasn’t wrong. That’s a misunderstanding of what he does. He gave a probability.

I think it’s fair game to blame everyone who did not vote for Hillary, though I agree people do seem to be being oddly specific about that.

Unless, you know, impeachment. Which given who they are is not an unlikely scenario. Trump will grab someone somewhere or maybe it turns out that what Pence is hiding in those mails is just super, super racist.

I think it depends. The thing about political outsiders is that it turns out that don’t really know how to do the whole politics thing. Bannon is all rhetoric. Shouting things loudly over and over until some people confuse it with truth. That’s pretty good for winning elections, not so much for running stuff. So

She was really against maternity leave right up until the point she had maternity leave.

It’s almost as if he was not telling the truth 78% of the time.

Almost like they thought you meant any of the things you said during the campaign. Next they’ll expect you to do any of the things you said you would do, as

That is an amazing piece of reasoning. “The problem was so big we figured we’d just put our hands over our ears and shout LA LA LA at the top of our voices whenever it came up.”

I genuinely catch myself wondering. Did that.......is this real.....? And then reality floods back in.

Unless they’ve lost their job to market forces. In which case the government should help them out whilst getting out of the way by restricting trade whilst freeing up trade.

Which for the majority of people will be more under Trump. But at least the form will be less complicated.

“otherizing an entire group of people as rapists”

He’s so smart. Always saying the opposite of the thing he will actually do. Using lies to get what he wants. That’s why we can trust all the promises he made.

That’s a pretty dangerous precedent. Sure, it’s dangerous to have whatever monster Trump will pick, but if you establish that the President can just bench whoever, the balancing effect of the House will be gone forever.
