Driving in the same direction we have been for years isn’t working very well for most Americans. Why not try crashing the bus into a ravine and seeing if it somehow shakes out better for you personally?

I don’t think anyone expected a hard hitting exposé. But I think it’s reasonable to expect a late night TV host to not actively support an open racist on national television.

Is it a good idea to have a doctor who is a Yes man who will only tell you what you want to hear? That seems hazardous and if we’re in the hyperbolic mood, the kind of careless, poor decision making one does not want to see in the President of these United States.

I suspect it was more along the lines of “agreed to this under the condition that”.

True. She’s still quite a way ahead, but it’s way, way closer than is remotely comfortable. The man is a braying lunatic and it’s depressing that this became a race at all.

But he can’t release his tax records because the IRS says he can’t even though they’ve said he can. And we can trust what he says they said over what they say they said because he says he is a truth teller.

Because they don’t support Donald Trump. They support the fictional version of Donald Trump that only exists in their heads. The one who is always right and true and knows exactly what to do and when. Who does and says all of the things they already agree with.

The DNC are terrible at their jobs and coast along because slightly more than 50% of the voting population aren’t delusional assholes.

I do quite like that it ignores the fact that if we’re saying that a parties history defines the party, then the current republicans are all liberals.

I’m not sure that’s true. I think they’re impressionable. They jumped on this exciting band wagon of wish’s and dreams. Of fighting The Man, speaking Truth to Power and such. And now their parties candidate is some boring lady who is saying the same things politicians always have.

I’m slightly baffled as well. There doesn’t appear to be any real “game” there. You walk about, slowly increasing some numbers. Which essentially makes it an elaborate pedometer.

The mistake you’re making there is thinking this is aimed at an audience who understand what debate looks like. The majority of his base wouldn’t know rational debate if it foreclosed on their house, and consider calling people “dumb” as roughly the same thing as mathematical proof. Probably better, because only…

“because at least she is competent”

And if you’re bleeding profusely you better be sure it’s life threatening before rocking up to A&E. It’s not that it’s been defunded by a government hostile to the idea of governing, it’s all the people who need treatment that is the problem.

Unless they need an ATV to fight terrorism in Poughkeepsie. Then there is plenty of money, apparently.
