Only if he was originally making her completely evil beforehand for contrast. The only way she works is if the class incident was must less, and the tape incident never happened. And she liked Ted the entire time, even if she disagreed with him. You know, the classic "hate before love" setup.

Now that is awesome!

In my opinion, if you are paying attention to background details, it means there's lull of boredom. You don't not pay attention to the narrative for background details. You forget about the background details because you get caught up in the plot.

Says the guy who made his Internet handle say he was hansdome.

But the odds do actually change on that show. And you can tell what they are by the fact that it will always be more than what the banker offers.

They didn't make her somewhat sympathetic. They completely changed her character. She was set up as a manipulative bitch. I still am having trouble believing she really wants to be friends with Ted. She had no problem manipulating him or his class. I see no reason she didn't set it all up to manipulate his friends.

You said previously that you would justify the grades you give. Yet you did not at any point in this review explain why this isn't an A+. You had nothing bad to say about this episode. This is the first time you've given any justification for the grade.

It's not irrational. She was set up as a horrible person, way worse than all the bad stuff you guys say about the main cast.

You said absolutely nothing bad about the episode, yet you gave it a B+. After you'd just got through saying you at least try to justify your reviews.

Zoey is not the problem with the episode. Yes, she's a jerk, and should get her comeuppance, but that can easily happen later. The problem is Ted's friends. For the first time, I agree they are acting like horrible people. Zoey's not just Ted's enemy. She's a criminal and a complete asshole. There is no way they

That's why there's an edit feature.

You guys seem to forget that, if Ted really likes the Arcadian as an architectural landmark, then he had no reason to tear up the plans that would keep it while working well with GNB. He clearly doesn't think it should stand, and only said what he said because he's feeling sorry for her, and gets mixed up about his

I do not get your confusion. He's talking to the kids, and says "your dad," which must be him. He's not talking to himself. Plus it's obvious in context that it is Ted who is upset, as his Dad isn't in this episode and has barely even been on the show.

That would not mean the first kid could not be a daughter, since it was about the last time he'd ever smoke. He could mostly quit with his daughter, only to pick it back up or have a birthday cigar with his son, only to quit after that.

You may try, but I never have any idea from your review why you give the score you do, except when you spell it out or when you give an A+.

Yip, and she gave that episode a B+.

The premise of the show is that Ted is telling his kids the story of how he met the mother. The story is therefore over once he meets the mother. You claim to care about the core mythology, yet you can't even understand what was established in the first episode.

He throws it away because it was crap that he made to impress a girl. The whole reason Ted is doing this project is to make his building, his mark on the New York skyline.

Especially since all the "good" ones were way over the top. I bet he got a lot of bad reviews, but the word "boring" was the one that actually bothered him.

Okay, so what led to the B+? The only negative you mention is the "Where's the poop?" line. Is that it?
