There's nothing wrong with having an endgame. But the thing with having one is that everything you write in between needs to take it into account. If Barney and Robin are going to break up, don't spend an entire season on their wedding. If you need the mother to be a MacGuffin, then don't have her be an actual

The fact that we have to fill in all those blanks is exactly the problem. Unless the point is to have an ambiguous ending, you shouldn't have blanks unless they can only be filled in one way.

I admit that Britney didn't do a good job acting in this, but I don't see how it ruins the episode that much. The rest of it was solid. And at least Britney was well cast by making her a really awkward person, so her awkward line readings seem like they could be in character. Sure, the seems started to show this time,

The thing I don't get is Zack giving both of the episodes he likes a B+ this season. But last season, a B+ on "Bread and Circuses" meant it was mediocre crap.
