I find it hard to believe that all the Indian and Pakistani immigrants that live in my town that have been here for less than a decade that all drive Model Ys are Nazis. Hey, you know that smartphone you have iPhone or Android? Guess that means you support near slave labor that work in factories with suicide nets

I hate this type of argument. Its sophistry at its finest. Like someone said below if one’s moral scruples were that high and mighty no one would own hardly anything. The iPhone or android phone you’re using right now was built by people in factories in China that have suicide nets around the windows and they get paid

I can’t stand those totally made up marketing names like Fratzonic. Can you totally turn it off and have the car be silent except the mandatory pedestrian noise?

I just want an electric Fatboy from HD with 150mi city range and a sub 5 second 0-60. Hell, i’ll take 120mi range. That has to be technically possible right?

Problem is price. Most EVs out there with good comfort, tech and range are all well over $45,000. Get the people some EVs that have minimum of 250mi range at 70mph for between $20,000-$35,000 out the door before any deals or incentives and they’ll fly of the lots. But when the spec of Kia Ev6 I want is $52,000 its

2 things.

He forgot to say he was in “Mexico”. But for real what is the statute of limitations for speeding? I see this with some YouTubers that they blur the speedometer or say they are in “Canada” or “Mexico”. Could the cops really happen upon your video years later and issue a citation? I understand if you filmed a felony

They could do like they do in the UK and I think the rest of Europe, which is that when you buy an EV the cord you get with your car is double ended so you plug your own cord into a public level 1 or 2 charger after you activate it and you carry that around with you. Rather than have cords just lying or hanging around

Fisker should just go to some established company doing well with EVs and design one for them.

I can’t believe we live in world now that political affiliation determines what can you can and can’t buy. Buy the car you want and or fits your needs who gives a flying fuck what the CEO of any company thinks about anything? They’re all rich douchebags in one way or another and they’ll be rich no matter what you do.

Rivian is a little late to the game PlugShare has been doing this for over a decade.

Why on earth would there even be live ammo of a movie set at all? Wouldn’t that be the single most prudent safe thing to do? So, no matter what happened there would always be just a blank in a gun? I know blanks can harm and potentially kill but in this situation if the gun Baldwin had would have had blanks all that

The last two sets of tires I’ve put on my 17' Bolt EV have been regular tires not EV specific and have only noticed like a 2-4 mile dip in range.

Am I the only weirdo that wants a nice Hershey chocolate brown car with a black interior? Or even like a bright (not neon) green like just the standard Crayola crayon green? That green with a steel grey interior would look pretty good imo.

Serious question. Do the various governments own the monopoly or i guess the sole legal ability to run large ships with nuclear power? I mean the US Navy has been running aircraft carriers and submarines on nuclear power for 60+ years. Seems to me that its not beyond the technical ability of some private civilian firm

Source? Direct quote?

I think its interesting that people call JK a POS for having the very reasonable and rational position that any human with a penis (that isn’t a small child) shouldn’t be allowed into women’s bathrooms and women only spaces. And equate that position with genocide, talk about intellectual dishonesty. Why don’t you go

As bad as it sounds its probably something very simple. I know on a lot of EVs that when the 12v battery starts dying it can throw codes and induce weird behavior. Or like someone else said it could be a loose ground or grounds.

Lemme ask you this, you really think the Tesla designers and Engineers didn’t already do all these calculations to determine if the occupants are going to jellified on impact? Seems like that’d be a pretty dumb business decision to kill or severely injure your customers by designing out crumple zones.

Sorry, there is no way that Tesla or any other car brand would spend billions of dollars developing a car, making huge casting machines and assembly lines only to have the thing not able to be sold due to crash test failure. Gimme a break.
