E46, E39, E38 was peak BMW in my mind. But where do we go from here? No one makes a modern E46.

I guess I don’t know enough about Acura’s implementation. In my head, transverse mounted engine => flywheel in line with front wheels => clutch pack to send power to the rear when the fronts slip.
There are a lot of (usually empty) roundabouts where I live. I wonder if the SH-AWD TLX will rotate on throttle like a proper sports sedan, or if it’ll push wide like every other transverse-engine, FWD-based AWD car does...
I’m assuming that it’s still transverse-engined, front-axle transmission based? Just because it *can* send power to that back doesn’t make it any less FWD biased.
I haven’t watched the series yet, but I’m guessing it’s a lot of “while you’re in there” preventative maintenance he elected to do since DIY and free (sponsored) parts.
Outside the US, you can buy a BMW m140i 3door with manual transmission. If I lived in SoCal, I’d consider buying and registering one in Mexico.
The 2.0 four banger that’s going to end up in the Supra will be the BMW B48 that makes 230hp/250ftlb at the wheels (https://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44052). The Miata isn’t even close to the same league.
Boooooo
Because some people want more than 200hp.
