That little snot boy! I'd like to smash that kid!

Tu es Moleculos.

And then fall over and crush him?

I'm in the middle of Outer Dark right now, and I agree with this entirely. I've read this, The Road, The Sunset Limited and Blood Meridian. Blood Meridian really blew me away, but, judging by the other ones, I think he might be a bit of a one hit wonder.

Saw Hercules on Saturday. It wasn't terrible, but it was pretty generic. On Sunday I saw Begin Again, which was surprisingly wonderful. Not too different from Once, but Knightley is so damn charming and the music, while much poppier than the music in Once, grew on me as the film went on.

I am a birthday loan officer, of course I know what tapas are.

I can't offhand recall the band that opened for them when I saw them. They were a Japanese duo, both women, and they came off as maybe a little too similar to Cibo Matto in style. They weren't bad, though. I must have seen them right around the same time. I think it was a week or two earlier than Valentine's Day.

Most parents of kids that age I know will not let them watch The Simpsons.

Hurray for Phox!

I really like that Lord Steppington album. Some really weird beats. Southsiders is my favorite so far this year, but I haven't heard much hip hop.

I'd heard "Emmylou" before, but kind of randomly bought their new album a few weeks ago. It was so great I retroactively bought the earlier record. "Emmylou" is still great, but the rest of that record isn't as good as the later record.

Agreed. I like it fine, but compared to their first two records it's pretty forgettable. However, it did allow me to see them live, in a very small club, too. It was awesome.

I did a top 10 list at the beginning of the month

I love Alone in My Home, which felt weird given how much I despised Get Thee Behind Me Satan. I usually hate it when Jack White refuses to be a guitar god (of course, if it was another whole record of piano songs).

I didn't like Blunderbuss at all, but I quite like Lazaretto.

She made the best songs list.

Someone on another thread claimed that episode wasted Steve Martin, but I think that quote proves them wrong.

I told you, a penis-faced monster beat me up. No it's not the worst excuse I ever thought up!

I don't remember seeing that one, but I really enjoyed that show. It really got you into the mind of the guests. Most of them were stupid as hell.

Well, this was long after MC Hammer was broke as fuck. It was actually really mean, but it made me laugh.
