It is also a realistic take on war in outer space. Space is HUGE (just ask Douglas Adams), & there's just no way to defend your entire border effectively. A real war between two interstellar powers would have battles all over the place, so much so that there'd be no such thing as a front line.

I want to see him play a bad guy more often. So badly. He has the flawless theatrical timing needed for a great villain, one you love to hate & love to watch even more.

Yeah, if there was a way to go back & fix that part of the narrative, I'd suggest spreading out their scenes so that Dukat reads the book in the penultimate episode… & doesn't go blind. It would making things flow better (& go down easier) if you only got like one short scene with them per episode.

"How about a floor covered with claymation mind-control bugs?"
"Nope."

Great job on explaining the viral timeline. This helps clear up some of the plot points that were left unstated. It's complicated but it all hangs together nicely (better than Bashir's changeling replacement), & it shows how awesome this show was at long-form narrative.

You provide the adult everything!

It was passed in '96, but the implementation didn't take place all at once. Many pharmacies didn't roll out their HIPAA compliance changes until '01.</pedant>

Of course not. Who gets the bill?

I swear, these are getting longer & more complex. This is not a bad thing.

…At least until they straighten out the name-change with the cable company.

Okay, I'm gonna come clean: I can't understand a fucking thing you are saying, Gor. Every time you Breen say something, it sounds like one of Hypnotoad's farts. You Ubesian-looking mofos need a better translation matrix, 'cause all I hear is speaker static. Turn down the distortion, dammit!

I shall hoist my Hive Mother's chrysalis-encased brood post-haste!

1) I'm pretty sure that you responded to the wrong comment by me.

Well, you can't have everything…

Agreed. I love how quickly it happens. He's on the floor before you even realize that Worf just attacked him. And then it hits you that he's dead. And THEN it hits you that he'll be back anyway. It's a triple-whammy, & Combs sells the whole thing with his bewildered stare of confused doom.

I find no mention of them prior to the DS9 season 4 episode Indiscretion. Anyone know of a specific mention from the TNG days?

Self-cleaning Breen! Leaves only the fresh scent of pine!!

I don't think he likes your pronunciation of his mother's name, nor what you are implying about her.

I'm sorry, I don't speak Jive.

…And it rules us all.
