Well, we will have to respectfully agree to disagree, because I truly like both albums, can listen to both all the way through, & actually like the second slightly better. While Aquarium (the first album) is poppy, & bubbly, & catchy, & whatnot, the pace can get a bit wearisome after a while, & other than Turn Back

AND that pleated skirt!

NAH WE NOE WHAI DEY KALLEM DA RED SAHKS! WICKED PISSAH!!

Also, the wind-storm thing makes Mars look inherently more dangerous (& therefore NASA more reckless) than a random meteor strike would have. A meteor is just the bad luck gods not playing around anymore, & can happen pretty much whenever.

I feel the same way. Some dude in my college (circa 1999) saw my Tool shirt & told me, "Hey man, if you like Tool, you'll love this new band Slipknot." He talked them up so much that my impressionable ass went out & bought their album. Worst $18 I ever spent. That Marlon Brando's eye bullshit is the only memorable

We all still waiting for a proper Gilgamesh film. I'm gonna be on Team Enkidu!

Well, her death is a bit part of why you know or care about FF7 (aside from the fact that it was an overall-great game + a bunch of surprisingly-fun minigames), so yeah, AeriS has just gotta die.

I'm sure that no one is Esty-tic to see this go.

Hey, Undertow is a solid album. Sentenced's fifth album, Frozen, wouldn't been a better choice; every song is about killing yourself (even the instrumentals are depressing).

Now it's just Super Bowl 50what.

You haven't really met Sisko until he punches you in the face, though. It's how he says "I acknowledge your existence".

Ensign Kim? He was barely a character, even if he was recurring.

We take the silver linings where we can get them, I suppose.

That is a "weakness" of most genre fiction. We all know the King of Fantastica & the Prime Minister of Scifilon IV, but the Speaker of Parliament? The Attorney-General? The Director of Happiness? Not so much. It harkens back to historical records in real life; sometimes the only person that is ever known from an

Hey, all of Trek would be phenomenal if they were 13-episode seasons. Every series has its clunkers, but even the worst of them could put together 13 better-than-decent episodes per year. I should compile my own list…

Here here!

Apparently, resistance was…

It's never too late to join the party. Welcome, & mind the trolls, dear.

Truly, Gor is a warrior-poet. Most only know him as a fighter, a warrior, a master of disruptor & dreadnaught. But we know his softer side: his love of flowers, his gentle brush-strokes, his gift with words & song. His hearts beat as one with the universe, & he holds a mirror to it, so we can see it from all sides.
