Baldur’s Gate 3 seems to delete your quick saves as you accrue them.

I felt that the option to keep the last 50 quicksaves and autosaves was pretty explicit in the options. I admit I didn’t even consider the slim possibility that there might be people who don’t go into options as the first thing when loading a game.

As mentioned in the piece, they do. But yeah, keeping 25 quicksave slots by default is an abnormally high amount for basically any game, so going with “dont trust quicksaves” as the framing of this is just nuts.

Bro most games use 1-3 quicksave slots at most. The 25 default here is already anomalously high. Expecting your F5 spamming to keep you permanent bookmarks for when you wanna get your rocks off is wild lmao

Many games in my experience have “real” saves in addition to quick saves, and while they take longer, usually, they are also not rotated out unless you explicitly do so.

This is 100% on you. Assuming the game will let you fill up all your storage with game saves (by default!) is insane. At most, games will only have 100 save slots, though the vast majority just keep three to five

I was always terrible at rhythm games, just can’t keep a beat, but Patapon was the one game that made me really WANT to be better.

That strategy seems to be working fine for CoD.

I dream of a world where gaming news sites actually do some research before regurgitating stuff they find on social media.

From the article above:

Alternately... never buy a game, only have premium subscriptions and churn through four $60 games in a single $15 monthly subscription. (This is how I played through Far Cry 6, Far Cry 5, Far Cry New Dawn, and Watch Dogs Legion for the low-low price of a Carl’s Jr. meal.)

Also, they never change the headlines, and that’s the only part that people remember and share, that and the outraged comments from people who didn’t read past the headline.

(sorry. had to >.>)

So in conclusion:

I’m not sure you need one of these to play AC, but I wore on of these at The Void for their Star Wars VR experience, and it was cool knowing that I got shot in the back, and that only my friends were behind me... :-/ :-D

“Don’t pick a fight with a giant unless you know you can win it.”

It would be great if this became something that could spark investigations into this company further, or bring to light the predatory nature of Gatcha based mobile games (because lets be honest, the difference between lootboxes and Gatcha is barely a thing). Still, hopefully this works in the favor of the VA’s!

Never played this, nor do I really care about fighting games at all. But I am a little uncomfortable with the sanitization of deliberately provocative media. It’s a transparently fetishistic fighting game, I’m not sure what face you’re saving here. That said, at least it seems it was the developers of the game

Is it?
