All the suspension changes are interesting, but I'm not sure they're solving the right problems. The main issue with the handling of the Soul has been that it has a high center of gravity and a relatively soft suspension. So hard cornering makes it feel like it's going to roll. In fact, it has a sticker inside telling

Really? I have no personal experience, I was just assuming based on the HP listed in the article.

That's a good point, and very true. I just hope people realize that's going to be necessary somewhere along the line if they want to get muscular.

Mine had about 160k on it when it blew a head gasket and left me stranded in the woods, haha. To be fair though, I had just had it underwater a few weeks before that and couldn't get all the junk out of the radiator so it wasn't cooling well.

Unless it has a 4.0 straight six, it ain't a real Jeep! /sarcasm

I actually like the headlights. Makes it look like it's suspicious of something. Like it suspects a boulder to jump out in front of it at any moment.

I like it! But then again, I used to own a '12 Soul, so I'm biased.

I owned one too (although mine wasn't stock). I think it's too early to make judgement about this. When the XJ was introduced a lot of people had problems with it too, because of the unibody design. The idea that a truck/SUV without a "real" frame could handle true offroading was outrageous to some people. But the XJ

I definitely feel ya there. But I think that's the same kind of problem we're running into across the board. Vehicles of all kinds are becoming less and less accessible for modification. That said, maybe those future gear heads will figure out better ways of modifying the suspension of vehicles like this.

I had the Zeo thing you strap on your head (for a little while, then I returned it). It was interesting, but the information really isn't all the useful. Given enough time and logging of your food/activity for the day, you might find what gives you the best sleep. But for the most part it's pretty much a novelty in my

I absolutely agree, I'm just saying it can be disheartening to people who realize later on that their daily 15 minutes will only get them so far. But you're right that it's just doing something that counts, I just think the expectations could be managed better.

Yup. Cut the price in half and Saab guys will probably go for it.

I used to have an XJ as well, and while it was definitely capable in stock form, it still wasn't perfect. For instance, in slippery conditions (mud or snow) I'd rather have my current Outback over the XJ I had. My XJ didn't have lockers (other than center obviously) and it wasn't too hard to get it stuck. Don't get me

Ha, I'm a mystery wrapped in an enigma! The looks of this thing are so-so, sort of looks like a Kia to me. But I'm mostly saying that people are assuming this will be terrible off road, when they don't really know.

I feel like a lot of this stuff is pretty misleading (at least for men). 15 minutes a day isn't going to get you muscular. It's enough to slim down (although that's mostly diet), but you need more time than that to put on muscle. Bare minimum I would think would be 30 minutes a day, 3 times a week. 45 minutes to an

This is just plain silly. $22k for a used Saab with 160k miles? It's not even fast... $22k is old 911 money.

Yeah, I'd take it off road. People romanticize the original XJ too much (sort of like they do with Miatas). The XJ was capable off road (although I wouldn't call it a "truck" seeing as how it's a unibody design, not body-on-frame), but it wasn't perfect. Depending on how the AWD is setup on this, it could be just as

All of your complaints ("it doesn't look fast") seem to be highly subjective. I think it's a nice looking car, sleek. Especially the current model. I think you're also confusing the Corolla S with the Camry SE. You're also making huge sweeping generalizations about the people who drive the car. It's an incredibly

My fiancee and her friends are going on a cheap cruise. As far as I can tell, they're all excited about it. Seems like there is no reason it can't be fun. It's just an excuse to hang out with your friends.

Just don't go. I really doubt she'll be "broken hearted."
