It’s arc, not arch. And I think you’re reaching a bit with your theory, imo.

If it was sexist when a man did it (and it was), swapping the genders just doubles down on the sexism.

I have to disagree. Monica showed more personality and emotion and interaction in 10 minutes of screen time than Carrie showed in 3 films. And most of the other characters showed more in a single minute than Keanu Reeves showed in...all three films. Obliatory “woah”s not withstanding.

It was like watching two robots

The art is breathtaking! Some try to find a line between illustration and art, but there can be no doubt here. I am blown away and inspired. Thank you for drawing attention to this.

The did tightly and rigorously define their terms. One of the aspects of consciousness is metacognition, the capacity to review and revise knowledge states. Correcting information that you have recorded to more accurately reflect changing circumstances is metacognition. Ants are displaying metacognition and so meet

The Hive Mind knows all. Do not question the Queen’s laws.

Well, the problem is that we don’t really have any unified operational terms that work across fields. Sure, culture probably affects consciousness in some way, it’s pretty easy to imagine, but very difficult to show exactly how occurs. You can utilize principles like the Whorf-Sapir hypothesis (and the whole strand

What? I don’t even... They need to elaborate on that, or it is functionally equivalent to “Did you know... A koala reasons more than a Creationist? No wonder bees describe flowers as ‘jiggity-jiggity sweet bee dance’.”

But code is created with a specific purpose. If an ant decides not to leave a trail, that’s a behavior emerging from a “mentality” that had to understand things like “I don’t want to waste others’ time if I’m wrong.” The action may seem simple, but nature doesn’t plug variables into equations while expecting a certain

You forgot to include the pictures.

I came to say this.

Two words: Monica Bellucci.

I know. It is not just lust but other emotions you have to put aside for later when you’re not working. I get so annoyed by my coworkers but I still have stuff to do so those feelings have to go off to the side until I'm done.

Forget the ridiculous third reason for a moment. Why do there seem to be so many otherwise intelligent people who don’t seem to understand that the vast majority of the time it’s not appropriate to act on your sexual impulses? Literally everyday of the week I work with and walk by women that I am attracted to,

What do you call the sensation that is a combination of SHIT IN YOUR PANTS EXCITEMENT and SHIT IN YOUR PANTS CONCERN?
