HBO can sometimes cannibalize its own shows, Last Week tends to out vice Vice, and Veep’s episode in Silicon Valley was genius — “You shouldn’t make your first million until you’re in your 30s. That’s what Andrew and I did, and it kept us completely grounded.”

So good.

This is unfortunate news. Wonder Woman has a chance, slim I'll grant you, of being the best comic book to movie ever made if done well (casting, writing, acting, and directing) and I thought they were on track with Gal and Michelle.

That's a hookup I'm wanting to see.

I think it's worth it... I don't want to oversell it, but I liked it, Emily Hampshire is like a hot Brad Pitt in the role he originated, that same spark of insanity, she's good. It has a Star Trek OS feel to it, can't explain that exactly, but it's like this crew trying to solve problems, where it's kinda about the

Weather porn or house porn — it's a toss up as I get older to which is the better porn.

I dated a chameleon once, highly overrated.

I like the meta question being asked here...

Agreed, The Leftovers is grim and I was warned to stay away given "Lost" but I didn't watch Lost so maybe I'll be burned by the nevergonnapayoff aspect of the show. I liked the themes of religion/faith/belief and what it does and doesn't do for person/community after loss. The symbology is fun to research, like

All three of these were way better in a run versus week to week, each depends so much on connecting past episodes that while I liked them weekly, I loved them all at once.

Lizzy Caplan. Serious talent. She was funny in this and is brilliant in Masters of Sex.

Betelgeuse: [refined voice] Ah, well... I attended Julliard... I'm a graduate of the Harvard Business School. I travel quite extensively. I lived through the Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. [getting progressively more demented] I've seen The Exorcist about 167 times, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER

The 80's were a magical time for movies and music. Then the suck started about 1993 and lasted till about 2005, then things turned around.

Picky test. I had the genus right for each one, just not the specific species. Only a true birder would know the 17,000 variations of finches.

Technically, Bompas & Parr are making "life masks" unless that person is tot. Great idea. Brings a whole new meaning to, "Eat me!"

Love birds. Appalled I got only 10/20 right. My first boss was an ornithologist who could get birds to come to him in the wild. He once went berserker when we spotted a short eared owl. Damn near creamed himself when we were watching a Swainson's Hawk and the bird threw up a pellet. We collected it. Crazy. But I get

Chika dee dee dee.

The 1930's, seriously under researched and under explored territory.
