I'm very pleased LiA made a Hat in Time comic! Seeing more of that game's adorable characters always makes me smile.

Well hey, this will be fun-

That depended on who you were playing against, mainly. I won a number of the ‘tournaments’ during the online demo, and that came down largely to playing off your opponent’s expectations on the return you were planning. Drop shots and lobs were honestly much more effective at getting someone to play into your hands

Oh my gosh, I hope you’re doing well and on the path to recovery, Mike! :( You’re always the one I recommend to my girlfriend as me-if-I-was-a-dad-and-writer years down the line. I desperately want to see those years continue, as you covered so many things I’ve loved, and introduced me to more. You’re one fabulous guy

Swappable with Owlboy: Iconoclasts. Similarly long development, both beautifully sprited, and both have very memorable moments. If your Metroidvania experience wants more shooty than flight, it’s a great time.

I will gladly say your recommendation of Iconoclasts led me to discover a game I absolutely loved playing last week. The series of scenes composing the emotional climax before the final confrontation was really something else.

Hard mode: realism filter for Okami. Surely that will even the playing field!

It’s worth noting that there’s been a successor magazine on Patreon called Nintendo Force, which is still quite good! I just got a copy not too long ago, it nails that feel pretty well.

Wait, you even adore pink as much as I do?!

Man, city building Lego sets are simultaneously my favorite and least favorite sets. This looks great, and that Ninjago Movie set of Ninjago City that’s releasing in December looks incredible. I just wish I had such floor space to pull a Lego Movie and have a giant city out of these sets, but sadly recognize that I

Oh, so if this happened Illumination Entertainment would be handling it? Their animation style is very bright so I guess it wouldn’t be the worst match.

This is apparently a common thing for Amazon, right? I had a Switch game that arrived two days after launch from their Prime shipping instead of on the day despite ordering it a good chunk before. It didn’t inconvenience me much in my case, but it looks like missing the date for games/consoles is sort of becoming the

I’m totally 50/50, depending on the circumstances. It’s treated essentially like my Wii U at home, as I like it on the TV but you gotta give up control of that for family every now and again. The big difference is taking it to work for time when I arrive early or am on break, and I love that. (And showing it off, of

I suppose the caveat for the Adventure Map comparison to history mode is that HW started off with one, and this game ends up giving you five smaller maps I can also attest more missions pop in as you progress; the first one winds up with something near 16-20, I think. It probably ends up being the same number of

I’ll admit, I never knew Barrios wasn’t even American. It goes to show how despite reading of him at least semi frequently I haven’t fully understood him, or the Smash scene.

I feel bad it took me reading your post twice to realize that wasn’t literally pizza boxes the Flash was holding, that design is totally the Edgy Pizza Palace’s gray-scale pizza box.

Just owning a variety of premium Japanese figures (D-Arts, Figma, Revoltech, and some PA Kai) myself, I tend to stay away from Kai’s. It’s mainly due to their larger sizing, though, as they tend to hulk over any other figure line. I enjoy posing my different characters together, and when the scale is different there’s

Well, Shake It’s dash to the finish is actually the same premise Wario Land 4 had, so the title serves more as a linear extension of 4 than shaking up the formula much. (Boo!)

You make me undeniably happy that someone else understands my pain!
