“To Catch a Predator” has taken their bait to the next level

You finally caught up with us in obesity, the rest seems like it should follow naturally.  I’m still jealous you can get a Land Cruiser that isn’t a leather-clad, gold-plated pillow fortress over there.

If they sold an STi hatchback or Crosstrek STi I’d almost certainly own one right now. But I’m a guy who put strut mount spacers and forester suspension on my WRX wagon, so I guess you could say...

It’s FINE but it shouldn’t be the “Sport” variant of said compact economy vehicle.  That should be the base engine, and a “sport” variant should be more interesting.

Tow a trailer with a Subaru??? Americans don’t tow a trailer with anything smaller than a Tahoe / Suburban. Ideally if you’re pulling something along the lines of a pop-up camper or a pair of jet skis, you should have the largest turbodiesel available and an Allison transmission.

If you can afford to be driving a new car, just plow into the car in front of you and let your insurance sort it out. Rich folk don’t have time to waste practicing stopping.

I’d argue that depending on the terrain he’s riding, having working brakes is a pretty high priority before he gets out there and starts crushing trails.

I assume they have a system that sprays down all heat exchangers with gasoline for enhanced evaporative cooling, necessitating a full tank for hot days.

Not saying that’s what it is, but would it really be a conspiracy for a non-friendly foreign power to hypothetically be modeling their potential opposition in case of a future conflict? I’d guess that every military power on earth is doing something similar whether physical or digital. China just has the extra space

As an enthusiast I hate myself for feeling this way at all, but having a Tesla Model 3 Performance in the garage I genuinely am beginning to worry that it’s just TOO EASY to go fast anymore. This is a car that builds speed faster than almost any supercar that we all considered untouchable 10 years ago, and all you

I wonder how that baking steel would work out on a 80,000 BTU propane burner.

This forces me to admit one of my most shameful moments in my early import-performance wrenching days. Having tweaked and beaten on my Integra GS-R quite thoroughly and experiencing lots of hopping and shuddering from the front end when doing so, I convinced myself that some Polyurethane engine mounts were going to

How else are we supposed to know how big each car’s dick is if we don’t measure them?

That’s a pretty specific comparison you’re looking for. The same amount of power against at least 500 pounds more car doesn’t seem like an “apples to apples” competition to me.  Yes, there’s new tech at play but it’s also carrying around a bunch of extra “tech” that is either required by law or expected by consumers

Did you skip the whole article just to get into the comments?

Seriously the exception is Hyundai / Kia - their warranties fall back to much more typical 5 year / 60k mile terms when you resell them.  So the ONE thing that might have helped them hold their value vaporizes.

I can’t wait till you find out that their long warranty isn’t fully transferable to the next owner.

Let’s just go ahead and disregard that capitalism is also almost entirely the reason 3rd world countries need to be saved.

We can only assume Subaru has no more FUCKS to give at this point.

The idea of trusting a Nissan completely with the steering decoupled from the driver is terrifying.
