It absolutely is an autopilot, honestly MUCH more capable and intelligent than autopilot systems in airplanes and boats.

To what extent do metal wheels act as a heat sink / exchanger for heat generated by the brakes?  I’d imagine a not-insignificant amount transfers from the rotor hat to the wheel itself and that would pay a measurable role in removing heat from the brake system, and that CF wheels would be less effective in doing so,…

Why would they run less regen?  Wouldn’t it pay to take advantage of motor braking even if you don’t need to bank the power for one-off laps?  No matter how much brake you have, it never hurts to have more!

All you have to do is open the tubes and let all the air out.
