I think it’s particularly fun with cuts that don’t typically have a ton of marbled fat.  My friend who works in the industry got his hands on a case of very nice wagyu tri-tip roasts and they were brilliant.  The EXISTENCE of marbling in a tri-tip is completely out of the ordinary, so the final result was not

Is anyone else a little bit annoyed that in a 5+ minute video about the exhaust system they only have clips of the engine free revving?  At least give me a WOT flyby under load.

You’re right, she should shut her face and wait for the new generation of scumbags to get rich enough that they can allretire comfortably before someone start the next-wave “me too” movement.  Imagine how we all would have suffered if someone had tried to shut down Weinstein before 2017.

Since Sheex made the list, does anyone remember the knockoff version, I think it was called “Breathe” performance bedding or something like that?  I bought like 3 sets of them, they feel almost exactly like Sheex and they were only about 1/4 the price, but I can’t find them anywhere anymore!

Super weird the way none of the teenagers who died in car accidents are speaking up, right?!

That’s why you should always wake your teenager up before you go-go.

Obviously it’s not THE fastest thing you can buy but I think you’d be surprised how few cars can beat it by much for significantly less money. It’s always been an option to pay less for American muscle if speed is all you want; there’s a cost penalty for being in a premium European luxobarge. Under 4 seconds to 60

Oh I know. I’m firmly in the anti-x6 camp in general. Which is why I have an X5M in my driveway (granted it’s previous generation, purchased for around 65k below sticker as I live on a normal human budget). I only took exception to his statement that the X6M isn’t fast. That’s the one thing it assuredly is.

Is it an SUV, a sedan, a hatchback?

I get that 110k is a lot of money, but in my book, 0-60 in 3.8 seconds and a 12.2 quarter mile is definitely “actually fast,” not just “fast for an SUV.”

My E70 will actually stabilize at 17-19 on the highway as long as I’m not too enthusiastic, and the newer F15 models should be better than that. But when my wife uses it for her 4-5 mile daily round trip it legitimately drops down to 8-9mpg average.

Because you’re not supposed to put things in the back of the X6, obviously.

Musk pitches OTA updates as a bonus, but this case shows that it can just as easily be a weakness.

I get what you’re saying but I also sort of feel like in most cases if you’ve got the budget for a $250,000 electric supercar you might also have another vehicle that you’d be more likely to use for your daily hundred mile commute. At that price range most people aren’t shopping for a one-stop solution to all their

Hey now, I think all of us can agree that one of the best things about driving ANY performance vehicle is looking like a massive douche every once in awhile.

The S was clearly their transition piece to open the doors to their glorious gaugeless touchscreen future.

I don’t disagree with any of that. And none of what you said is contrary to what I said. Car enthusiasts are a dying breed. We’re not the majority, we’re not the market. We are a niche.

Remember when the import car guys had to constantly justify themselves against the muscle car guys because they just knew they’d win in the twisties? Well now even the guys with big multi-turbo V8s are stuck talking about “soul” and “excitement” when their software engineer neighbor points out that they’re 0.5s

It’s ok, Autopilot will handle those twisties for you, sir. Enjoy your coffee and check your Instagram feed.
