By that I think you mean chapter 13? I was so confused by the story at that point I had no idea where we were most of the time and worse, why the hell we were there. It was all so random. I don't even know if it was Niflheim - looking it up we were in the imperial capital of Gralea where-ever that is.

The main plot sucks for the last few chapters. That's without doubt. I still enjoyed playing it but it felt like it was written by a bunch of production guys in a brainstorming meeting and they forgot to get a real script-writer to say 'that works and that shit just doesn't now let me do my thing'.
The combat isn't clunky at all and I have no issues with the UI so maybe it's a TV thing? That said I heard there's a patch coming with a bigger font.
