Yeah, let me second that it doesn't really come across in his work (though I haven't read "Surface Detail" yet)...not like, say, Phillip Pullman's atheism plays heavy in that author's "His Dark Materials" series - heck, I'm a pretty hard-core atheist myself, and yet even *I* found bits of the third book in that

I think that Walking Dead uses a combination of CGI & live actors, don't they? But yeah, even the parts where it's likely all-CGI it looks a lot more real than I Am Legend's cartoon zombies...

Thanks!

Same here! Now it's back - at the APoD site...but above it's still missing (according to my PC - but maybe it's just not updating correctly...?)

All I am seeing is "Sorry - This Video Does Not Exist" - even n the main APotD site: [apod.nasa.gov]

Princess Leia Slave Costume Underoos. Lol.

I noticed that too and agree. Not only that, but the mask really does NOTHING to *hide* his identity...if you gave a pic of this guy to the FBI or police - they could just change the green *painted* area to fleshtone with photoshop and see what he really looks like. And I doubt it would fool any decent facial

I think that if I was gonna have something like this done, I'd at least go to a plastic surgeon...more hygienic - and they can use/prescribe anesthetics and painkillers!

"Jack is still a priest. Given up the collar does not take away the Priesthood"

oops...wrong area.

I started to read that...long ago...but had to take it back to the library before I could finish it! but I have always meant to - it was good. Interesting premise!

From Wiki: "Each episode, Hammerman faced various social issues including, poverty, homelessness, domestic violence, incest, police racial profiling, gender confusion, opium addiction, economic inequality and Stockholm syndrome. At the end of each episode a puppet version of the magic shoes would speak to a live child

But now the shiny top doesn't match the pants at all. Really, they should have just scraped the whole thing and started all over from scratch...

*DOH*!!!

Not to be pedantic, but...

This was my first thought too.

Yeah...and an animated webcomic...and there was that video with Tom Baker where they mixed footage with his reading of the story...(and don't forget that many elements of this - and the *filmed* Who serial "City of Death" - were recycled in Dirk Gently... )

I am surprised that they haven't tapped this script for the new series yet. I think it would make a *GREAT* 11th/Amy Pond story...
