I know the show makes it look like you guys have the best time in the world, but how accurate is that? Between all the preparation for the trips and stunts and setting up shots during the road trips, I'd imagine quite a bit of work goes into it. Are you guys still having as good of a time as it looks?

That graph is amazing. It reminds me of the "top gear excellence-embarrassment graph"

That's not entirely true. Denser objects tend to fall faster than less dense ones because density tends to be inversely correlated with frontal area, which directly affects drag. Drag is the only real variable here. In atmosphere objects with a high force of drag 'Fd' to force of gravity 'Fg' ratio will fall slower.

I would have to imagine that as long as the world population and the number of people competing is growing, the records will continue to fall. The causes are two fold the way I see it.

Sure. Being from Newark I should have known better, but I left my car parked in front of my mom's house for ONE NIGHT. I returned to find my windows down and the lock pried out. They couldn't steal the car (it didn't even look like they tried) but they did get an iPod out of my glovebox.

I literally JUST got my G35 Coupe back from that shop after some break-in damage. Seemed to do a good job, but I didn't see Vlad or custom Bimmers there. Dealt with an older guy who seemed to know what he was doing.

The oil pump nut thing just happened to my buddy's Z3. Luckily he caught it before he burned up his engine. 60k mile car...

Looks like a clean swap and the 1jz is a great motor. That said, I doubt it has the stock ZF box.

Otherwise known as pretty much the same as the standard R8...not bad.

Turbo LS3 apparently

Turbo LS3 apparently

That was no OSG headed car, or at least if it was, it was turbo. I've only seen one of those, though.

Sounded like a turbo L-series to me, but that's a bit of a guess.

I know I'd regret it, but I still want it.

That's why all the LED taillights look silly on videos as well.

I just helped buy a GT6 for my girlfriend's father identical to the one he had as a kid. Sweet cars.

My '90 gets 36mpg on the highway...at like 4k rpm.

Sure, there are good a few running around, and there are shops that'll do the swap for you, though I don't think anyone has completed an HR swap yet. People are still breaking new ground with the VQ swap. Even if you're not doing a tube front, it just isn't as documented as some of the other swaps, the engine hasn't

Yeah, HybridZ member here. This guy is a member and doing an absolutely beautiful job, but there are a ton of crazy impressive cars on HybridZ. My current fav is Mark Rolston's twin turbo vq35hr, 1 piece carbon tilt front end, Corvette/multi link suspended car.

What's the little white thing in the second to last pic?
