That has to do with the shape of the gas tank. You most likely have one that is large near the top of the tank with a smaller lower section. The gauge typically reads only the level or 'height' of the gas in the tank, not taking into account the varying fuel quantity per unit height.

Jeez, that was aggressive.

I'm sorry, those cheekbone gill things look silly, especially in person. They may have some aerodynamic purpose, but I'm skeptical.

Not impressed by the driver, the car.

I know it would cost me another $15k for it to really be a driver, but I want it.

Gotta say, what's most impressive to me here is the consistency.

Looks correct to me. Unfortunately it happens to be from one of the most common cars in the US.

Yeah the 90's fledgling car kid in my wants it, but not for $22k of my hard earned 2012 dollars.

Cool for sure, but just the sheer impossibility of getting replacement parts scares me.

Park the G35. Ride the SV650 a little more and drive the Miata the rest of the time.

Nice clown shoe.

That's hilarious from a 10 year veteran.

I can't say for sure with the 458, but in general it's a good way to get a lot of energy away from the passenger compartment.

Looks like he still has the stock IRS in it...Impressive.

No, but I was replying to UnalteredTruth's comment that:

I use an iPad, I don't really have any trouble with getting it dirty, as there are few crevices that you can't clean easily. Works really well for my purposes.

Traction control is banned in NHRA

I guess I didn't read his comment the way you rephrased it.

I don't see any reason to make it personal. I have driven fast cars, but few with as much sophisticated electronics as the GT-R has. I too was under the impression, based on all the reviews, that it would be pretty difficult to get in trouble at low speed in a straight line with the GT-R.
