Not everybody read news (its not mandatory when buying a phone), and some people dont read news about technology.... It is still Samsung that should have killed remotely all their devices (its technically posible), and force owners to stop using it and returning them to the store.
Don’t they have a remote kill switch? I think this is a situation where a general kill switch activated from Samsung to all their devices would be necessary. Better to have people complain that their phone is not working, than having people with a non working phone and burns in their body/car/house.
