I only ever saw the pilot, and (even thought I love Gilmore Girls and was super excited) I thought it was a such a mess that I didn't stick around (why wasn't she already married to Alan Ruck at the start? Even if she didn't already know his family, it would have made so much more sense for her to stay if Kelly Bishop

That sounds much, much better than the movie promised by this trailer.

This looks so bad though! I'd love to watch a movie about Aubrey Plaza and Anna Kendrick running around being cute and funny, but this doesn't look like that movie.

They actually shot the Bridget/Firth interview and included it on the DVD as an extra. It's better than that second movie, to be sure.

I really liked About Time, but I fully admit that as a story it's kind of a mess.

Donald Glover as Charley Pride, I hope.

Message from the future:

What a missed opportunity that they made an Alexander Hamilton movie in 1931 and didn't cast James Cagney.

If this doesn't go well, he just might regret this night for the rest of his days.

(The Great) Edward Herrmann.

The Christopher thing, yes. Absolutely. But it kind of seemed like Rory was heading towards deciding not to become a journalist (the thing with Logan's dad crushing her dreams and all that). So if AS-P had a different post-college path in mind for Rory, she might ignore the one that season 7 gave her.

Riki Lindhome, Danny Pudi, Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman. A whole bunch of now-familiar faces.

Sure. Lorelai married Christopher briefly, Lane and Zach had twins, Rory got a job following the Obama campaign. Those are all pretty major life events that AS-P didn't decide.

Oh, Lauren Graham for sure.

I am jealous of you, but also happy for you!

Their daughter turned out to be River Tam, right?

Curse you *Freeform*

Maybe it's just my age (I'm exactly the same age as Rory - graduated high school in 2003) or the fact that bookish, nerdy girls are much more my type than sarcastic wiseacres, but I always thought Alexis Bledel was way hotter than Lauren Graham (who's also a beautiful woman, obviously).

That's a good question. It's entirely possible that Amy Sherman-Palladino will decide to ignore the 7th season. I can't imagine anyone at Netflix would try to talk her out it if that's what she wants to do.

Pedantic correction:
