Yeah, you're probably right.

I've never understood all of the hate he gets. His episodes seem like regular episodes of Gilmore Girls to me.

The key is that it's a *light-hearted, genuinely very funny* relationship drama with good dialogue. The appeal is in the deep, deep bench of interesting characters who are fun to watch.

Among (living) cast members who aren't confirmed yet, who's absolutely essential for it to really feel like Gilmore Girls?

He's only performing half of that act, because he hasn't released an album in 15 years (and that's his only one since 1993).

Wait, a middle-aged man paired with a beautiful younger woman?

Oh man, too sad to like!

You think Harpo is smarter than Groucho? Because Chico definitely isn't.

Absolutely! It feels like the old days.

I've seen a bunch of these - and I enjoyed them all well enough - but I remember almost nothing about any of them. Except that these two are so much more enjoyable as a duo than their fellow Universal comedy stars Abbott & Costello.

Robert Ryan, maybe?

Ah, I didn't realize that about Hulu, but it makes sense now that you point it out.

Thanks!

They need to clarify which To Be or Not to Be this is. If it's Lubitsch's unimpeachable classic, wonderful. I hope everyone in the world watches it. If it's the remake with Mel Brooks, ugh.

That's pretty standard for "The [Person's Name] Show".

That was James Brolin!

Good call! That is an amazing cover.

Right, and she'd be a ridiculous choice too.

I adore that "Across the Universe" cover. That's one of the three Beatles covers that I prefer to the original (along with Stevie Wonder's "We Can Work it Out" and They Might Be Giants' live version of "Yellow Submarine")

Ooh yeah, he would have been good. Harder to get than Crews or Common though, I'm sure.
