Yeah, she's great in that. Like others have said, she seems like an actual person.

That was my experience when I watched the whole series for the first time last year. Goldeneye is okay, but Tomorrow Never Dies is an absurd amount of fun.
That's the show I was just about to suggest!
I haven't, although I've considered doing so many times. My original plan with Voyager was to watch the first two seasons, and then the first season of Enterprise, and then switch back to Voyager, and so on.
It is truly the "that movie Orange County" of today.
Oh yeah, I made note of that at the time - I even copied it into a Google Doc. Maybe I should just skip ahead and watch some of those you recommend.
After years of avoiding it/putting it off, I finally decided to give Voyager a shot earlier this year because I found myself jonesing for that spinoff-era Trek feeling.
I never commented much on these reviews, because I watched most of Trek once and a lot of it blends together for me, but I always loved reading them (and the comments). Thanks so much, Zack! Great, great stuff.
I never reply to these, because I haven't seen Barney Miller since I was in high school and I don't have much to add, but I'm very much enjoying reading about your trip through it.
We haven't seen a single instance of her being bossy or a control freak. Even if she's hiding it, we should see the evidence that it's there.
Sure, I get that. They aren't the only two podcast-based interviewers who exist. But he was a convenient example because they're in that photo together, and also because I often end up listening to Nerdist when I like the guest and then being disappointed by Hardwick's style.
Yes. Absolutely. People love to talk about how self-absorbed he is, but that guy is really skilled at getting his guests to feel comfortable. He always seems genuinely curious to learn about them.
You got your wish!
That's a 6-parter. And it undoubtedly is pretty padded. But it's enjoyable. That's the only time I've seen Delgado's. Master.
Good to know. Thanks!
I have seen that one (it's from season 10)
Coincidentally, I just started the New Adventures this week. I'm about 110 pages into Timewyrm: Genesys, and yeah, it's really excited about being able to have an 8th grader's view of sex and violence. I'm enjoying the Doctor and Ace (and it's really fun to simply experience DW in a new medium), but it's kind of a…
Good to know "Exodus" is better. I assumed "Revelation" would be good because Paul Cornell is always good.
I haven't heard that stuff yet, but I'm certainly looking forward to it! (I'm caught up with the 8th Doctor through "Time Works")
Huh. That's one of the seasons I haven't seen at all. So I shouldn't make it a priority?
