I only saw one movie - Computer Chess, which I liked but not as much as I feel like I'm supposed to. I didn't think most of the "couples therapy" subplot worked very well at all, and overall I admired the ambition of the third act more than the execution. Still a good movie that I'd recommend to anyone who has

The most important gateway to Kevin Smith geekery is "being 15 years old."

The Gold Rush breaks my heart every time. What a lovely movie.

I didn't know that Rhino book existed - thanks!

Yeah! I loved both of them, and this article just told me that this show exists. I am now excited about it!

Yes. I would absolutely love to see this.

Madeline Kahn?

Oh man, "redheaded zaftig gadfly" is the best phrase. Solid work!

Oh, I don't know. They got married at 19.

That's been in my Netflix queue for a while, but I didn't know she was in it. Thanks!

Yeah, she's adorable. I had a big crush on her in "Real Women Have Curves" back when that first came out.

A 40-year-old who's aged gracefully? Merciful heavens! Keep that filth off of my television!

That dude is a Xander Harris lookalike all the way.

(He didn't direct those this century.)

Thanks for reminding me that I need to see Munich (also, possibly to a lesser extent, War Horse.)

I don't agree (it's A.I. for me), but I endorse your opinion as valid. That's a terrific movie.

The African Queen and Sabrina are both kind of comedies. He has a lot of funny moments in both of those.

I agree with you that the execution of the Davros story leaves a bit to be desired. I was startled when the story actually ended with the Dalek occupation still a part of history - it's clearly over at the end of the story, but it's allowed to stand that they killed 8 billion people. Like you say, that should elicit

It just gets draggier from there. If you're halfway through Exodus, you're just about to the part where it stops being the exciting story of Moses leading his people to freedom and becomes 15 or so chapters of laws and procedures for those people to follow.
