Here it is, courtesy of some kind soul named Antea13 -

Greg Boyd (disclaimer: an online friend of mine) reviewed the first season and a half over at This Was TV (disclaimer: a site I used to write for), and it's pretty enjoyable reading -

It reminds me a lot of what TV Land was like around the turn of the century. They ran a lot of the same shows that MeTV runs now, plus all kinds of weird obscurities on Saturday mornings (TV Land Showcase) and various other times. That's where I first saw He & She, Alias Smith & Jones, Duet, the bizarre New Odd Couple

I hope it's pronounced The Railwaymin.

I've been watching a bunch of Dragnet on Netflix lately (the color version from the late 60s, which probably isn't as objectively good as the 50s era, but is the one I grew up with). I'm so glad it's on there.

Batman is a terrific show. One of the most confidently-executed series of all time - they knew exactly what (incredibly tricky) tone they were going for, and they nailed it (at least for the first two seasons)

Another thing I meant to mention -

You mention that the "Tigger" Doctor reminds you of 4 and 11, and I was especially struck by how much he plays as a parody of the latter. Obviously that wasn't intentional, because the staff at Big Finish aren't actually Time Lords and 11 wouldn't exist for another five years, but it stuck out to me just the same.

Yes. Agreed. I've always said that "Simpsons Spinoff Showcase" would have been the perfect "Going out on top" ending, while "Behind the Laughter" would have been the perfect "Clearly we're going downhill, so let's pack it in while we're still well-loved" ending.

My wife and I have been slowly watching the entire series, and we're now mid-S12. There's a surprising number of gems in those Mike Scully years. It's clearly a show past its prime, but it still makes me laugh a lot.

That reminds me that I never got around to watching the last two episodes of that season. At the time I was just fed up and had no desire to watch a show I love sink further into mediocrity. But you guys are making me want to go back and watch them, just to see with my own eyes how bad they are.

"Yeah, that's the ticket. He's-a meesa cousin."

I haven't seen it. I didn't especially enjoy Thor 1.

I was hoping that the post-credits sequence of Thor 2 would just be Jessica Walter beckoning towards space and saying "Here's some money. Go see a star, Thor."

Absolutely. She's terrific there, and I thought she was dull as dirt in IM2.

Wow, that actually does make me like him more. In an interview (not that I'll ever bother to listen to it)?

I don't know him, but I can't stand T. J. Miller. Something about his voice just grates on me like crazy.

Agreed. I stopped watching the show in season 3 (well, I
watched the first 2 3/4 seasons on Netflix a couple of years ago and then got
tired of it), but this almost convinced me to go back and finish it.

Indeed. All These Things I've Done is one of the best YA novels I've read in years.

I mentioned a while a while ago that my wife and I were going to marathon DW audios on a road trip this weekend, and so we did. We finished the Divergent Universe arc (from Twilight Kingdom on) and we should get through at least two more during our last leg today. I won't say anything about the last two stories in the
