That's a good point. And the soundtrack on the DVD certainly has a whistle noise.

My favorite thing about that movie is how they manage to make the sound of a whistle a really funny running gag in a silent movie. Remarkable.

Mine is The Mission.

Was it my Grandma?

I'm pretty sure Pete and Scott were my introduction to the concept of homo eroticism.

That sounds like a good I should read. Thanks!

That sounds like a book I should read. Thanks!

See, that's just pretty basic stuff in that culture. The main thing is that those aren't the specific views my parents have (they certainly had friends who felt that way, but it was to the right of them), so I've never had as much interest in it.

Oh hey, my friend Katy's mom lent me on VHS one time in high school (2001 or so) because she thought I was getting a bit too into the Beatles. That's a true story.

Yeah, I actually still really like "Shine" and "Entertaining Angels." I probably always will.

They're spreading the Good News. OBVIOUSLY.

Whoa, that's a real movie? That does sound better than Christmas with a Capital C. Also, when I say "best" I mean "my mom loves them unironically the most."

Kirk Cameos, we call 'em.

Have you seen Christmas with a Capital C? That's one of the best.

Before he made that movie, Greg Robbins also created and starred in the laugh-free Christian sitcom Pastor Greg, which is just as bad in a different way.

It is!

Sadly, no. They're way more rocking and cool and rad and their (former now, I think) lead singer is bald.

Kris Karter.

I can't believe that's actually the character's name!

Todd, call him by his proper name - *Minnesota's own* Kevin Sorbo.
