Although it MAY require some learning curve (as every sport does), I always felt that Smash (Melee, and Smash 4 alike) is a game that is easily comprehensible while spectating. It’s a spectator sport You might not know the rules, but just by watching you can tell who is winning, and who is dominating a match.
