One thing that you should never relate together is cars and investing. Most, most cares are a depreciating asset. Even though you did get a car that is increasing in value, is it increasing compared to inflation? And as much as you’d like to deny it, the automotive industry has actually progressed since the 60s.

Late to the party, but I have to agree with 1995droptopz. Carefully consider leasing/buying based on your own circumstances. I just think leasing outweighs buying for me.
