It’s a good thought, but if a customer argues against that (particularly if it was purchased at a different store), the employee will almost never refuse the return (on account of needing to provide good customer service).

I worked for GS for years. There’s no real way to “cut them off”. Sure, you can deny a return/exchange, but if they decide to go to another store (or corporate) they’re gonna be able to exchange it anyway. The best I ever did was a casual “Hey, you’ve been exchanging a lot, try and make this the last one, okay?” kind…
Few thoughts.
...before it pummels into a tree, they escape, only to shoot at the devastated vehicle and their very bloody teammate.
I am a lucky insomniac.
Not quite. I preordered mine around 1:20 AM.
I’m actually thinking of buying a bike, and was excited to read this. Every ounce of that excitement vanished upon reading the disclosure that it’s just a paid advertisement.
Pokémon games area all about... the fist-place time for beating the game... is an entirely different animal then the rest...
Really enjoyed the article. One note, though - Dead Man’s Hand will get you 9 cards, not 10 (since you have to play DMH to activate the effect).
You can totally pick it up now. It’ll take you a few matches to get the feel for some of the stuff you should do (and not do), but since the weapon placement each time is random, you’ll be fine.
I totally get that some people have this opinion, but I don’t share it. I didn’t play through XII - if anything, maybe that prevents me from being blinded by nostalgia? But I personally think that adding detail and/or visual clarity to the game enhances more than it detracts. I don’t see an issue with it.
Lucky they weren’t racing in the winter, or we’d be dealing with the stream freezing.
This game is ridiculously fun. I love that it tests multiple aspects of your own skills: from the initial decision-making of where to drop, to your pathing throughout the mid-game, to your strategies at the end when you’re in a confined location.
I don’t have a finger on the pulse of the Street Fighter 2 community, so I have no idea of their feelings about EVO. Given that they haven’t made an uproar that I’ve heard about, my assumption would be that they’re not too upset.
Speaking as someone who plays the newest one, you’re an idiot. I hope with all my heart that you’re not a part of my scene.
He dropped only a single match on his way to the grand finals to 2GG’s Rei “komorikiri” Furukawa, sweeping all other opponents.
This attitude was reflected on social media as the Deadpool conversation continued. While no one denied his strength...
I’m not a “car” person by any means - I mainly read Jalopnik stories for entertainment. But I have to say - I’m glad this person wrecked their car, as much as I’m glad they (assumedly) walked away from it without any major injuries. I have a deep-seated distaste for blatantly reckless drivers, and the fact that they…
Good article, and a really good read that aligns well with my most recent frustrations with Hearthstone. I started playing just before Whispers of the Old Gods, and played quite a bit, up through Gadgetzan. I always seemed to run into trouble, though, because I don’t spend money on extra packs, relying on the…
This article is a fun read, though I feel it’s a bit remiss that it doesn’t mention Komota’s Kirby upsetting Ally at Frostbite a couple months ago.
