There are some sprinkled here and there. The older hardware, plus the age of the game, contribute to keep their attendance relatively lower than the newer games, but the community definitely exists. Super Smash Con is the most notable well-attended 64 tournament that I know of.

Nice article, and it highlights both exceptional performances nicely. One nit-picky thing:

I’ve only gone to one EVO (last year’s), and I can’t speak so much for other games’ experience, but the Smash 4 experience last year was severely lacking. It’s looking like it’ll be better this year, but a notable lack of space and unnecessary time constraints really hurt it in 2016.

I was at Civil War, both as a competitor and a spectator, and it was easily the best event I’ve been to - better than CEO, EVO, Smash Con, or any of the others. That’s not to say that any of those events were bad, mind you - just that the entirety of the Civil War event was so well done, it was mind-blowing. Not

I had a completely different reaction to the scene you mentioned, truth be told. The impression that I got was that Link was a bit embarrassed and flattered by the compliments he received, and that the shock came solely from seeing something unexpected. I didn’t take it as anything more than that - “This person is

I’m on the complete opposite side of the spectrum. I love the weapon breakage, for at least 4 reasons:

Really don’t feel like going back and forth, but I feel the need to say one more thing about point 3. They didn’t immediately start banning people - they’ve given out fair warning. If you do something in-game that the developer specifically tells you not to do, you deserve whatever punishment you get.

Who cares if someone farms for XP in a game where it means next to nothing?

I work in an HOA, and I’m all too familiar with this kind of situation. Yes, the “commercial vehicle in the driveway” thing seems ridiculous, but if it exists, the HOA staff are legally required to enforce it.

Given the lack of information about quantity of games, it’s hard to draw conclusive conclusions about the quantity of games, but 50% of your teammates reporting you is fairly notable even with a potentially small sample size.

According to WookieeCookie, while “Draw” had a respectable win rate of 53 percent on support Nunu, they were also reported in nearly 50 percent of their games for being frustrating and “unfun,” including reports that came from teammates after winning a game.

First off, you mention Kameme twice - Kameme was indeed the Mega Man who took Zero’s stocks, but he was preceded by Kirihara.

Heather, your articles are the best. You’ve made me want to go home and try to glitch things. Thank you~

Having played Pink both pre- and post-nerf, I can stay that the nerf really only made him stronger as a player. Pre-nerf Bayonetta was absolutely ridiculous - this is undeniably true. But Pink, along with the other top Bayos, took the nerf and used it as inspiration to find new mix-ups and combos that they didn’t

There’s a pretty simple reason for the extreme cost involved in promoting a unit from 4 stars to 5 - 5 star units are, generally, vastly more powerful than you need for a good chunk of the story. Sure, I understand the desire to have an uber unit, but when using it will change the game from “tactics” to “send in the 5

Would you buy Overwatch for the Switch if it supported 12-player local multiplayer as well as online?

I used to work at GameStop - in fact, I worked there for 6+ years. I didn’t hate the job (usually), so haters beware, this isn’t going to be the normal “lol Gamestop suxxx” comment that these articles so typically receive.

Potentially controversial opinion here, but I can understand and sympathize with the people affected by him, especially in ranked play. Even if you’re absolutely great at a particular hero, Overwatch is a team-focused game, and there are going to be instances where one person, no matter how good they are on a hero,

The reflection of your face in the screen reminds me of Metroid Prime.

(The vast majority of comments): Blah blah blah, GameStop trade values suck.
