Amen to this. They did a great job with him, I concur. Watching him slowly lose his mind during game 7 with the little transistor radio was hilarious.

This was a fantastic show. I’m sad it has ended.
BEAT L.A.!
Full disclosure: I’m a Boston Celtics fan.
This show was FANTASTIC. Absolutely loved it. I thought Quincy Isaiah was a great Magic, loved how the show made Boston out to be the bad guy, loved how they focused on Larry the person (I assume season 3 would have started to show Magic and Larry’s budding friendship), and th…
I won’t disagree about a cutback in this area as well. Generally, I go on Tuesday evenings as ticket prices and popcorn are each half price at my local theater (Regal).
I had intended to go see Oppenheimer as the weather was expected to be rainy/stormy... turns out it ended up being fantastic up here in Massachusetts, so I missed out. I’m sure that I’m not the only one, but glad this was a success. I love going to the movies, and I do not want to see the movie going experience die.

Give me a dual VHS release of this and Batgirl. TAKE MY MONEY NOW
Nope, this is just fine. Worked out for Mando, a character and group most knew nothing about. Oh, and starting on Episode IV seemed to pan out ok as well.
Just so you know, you aren’t alone. I didn’t hate the movie. But, like you seem to have come to realize, I recognize why people have hated/disliked it. At this point, it really doesn’t matter... WB/DC made their choice to move on from this and we’ll see what comes next.
There’s no doubt that the McDonald’s Sausage McMuffin w/ Egg remains elite, but one must not forget that it used to be better. Sometime in the 2000s they changed the sausage. No idea why, they just did. And we’re worse off for it.
Great movie, but it’s not better than Batman 89 or The Dark Knight.
Someone else here said this already... I was 11 when it came out and I remember it being a bit boring... I liked it, but didn’t think it was all that special. Having re-watched it several times as an adult, I appreciate it as being a fantastic movie.…
Sign me up for an animated Crisis!
Amen to that.
Fair enough, I guess I didn’t mean finish through to the Knightmare movie. My bad not being clear on that.
I personally feel Snyder’s full DCEU products are solid... the shortened (BvS) and redone (JL) versions that ultimately got released were brutal. WB/DC knew what they were getting when they hired Snyder for this…
But that’s sort of my point... they committed to jumping into JL... even if MoS hadn’t had a polarized response, they’re still doing the same thing... and frankly I’m not sure the overall response would have changed.
I agree with letting Snyder finish his plans... in the end WB/DC did this to themselves.
That’s your opinion. We all have them. Mine is that MoS was quite good, and I do not believe the overall DCEU (MoS, BvS Ultimate Edition, JL:ZS, WW, AM, S!, TSS) was “shit.”
“And, if you step back and think about it, that’s an excellent way to distinguish DC movies from Marvel movies.”
So, I have no problem with them doing this... I, frankly, want content... so if they decide to go individual movies or larger ones with multiple characters, I’m good with either happening. But... I mean...…
Well, technically, the government is being run by a Skrull PM/Gravik. Might have done enough to make sure to hold off on any air support thinking that Gravik could have gotten the deed done before the military acted upon the attack.
I plan on seeing it again in the theater this week.
This shouldn’t be a surprise. People love The Walking Dean in general, and most anything that is new and fresh does well. It struggles when the seasons wear on with roughly the same characters.
The Daryl and Rick/Michonne shows should do quite well initially too. How long that sustains is the discussion point.
