It seems the when I try to load up some pics from my phone, it won’t work. Like, nothing happens. Anyone else having this issue? It’s been going on since yesterday. I have some pics I wanted to share.
Is the old cars/trucks that you see. Some in pristine condition, others in a condition that you can tell it was daily driven. Either way, it’s really cool and nice to see these old cars still in use. In this case, a first gen Chevy C/K truck; with a lift kit! It looks fantastic! Hats off to the owner!
Went to guitar center yesterday, saw an 8 string bass for the first time. It was a Rogue (guitar center’s home brand). I enjoyed playing it, it was really different and unique.
I’ve driven a couple different cars, and I’m not sure if this is an industry standard or not, but the rear seats tend to be arranged in a 1 + 2 format; why is that? The spot behind the driver’s seat can always bend down on its own [pictured], it’s never one unit with the middle spot. But the middle seat and the…
I honestly got them last weekend, but this is the first moment I got to post about them. I got a GL ‘65 Lincoln Continental and a GL ‘72 Ford F-100 with a horse trailer. Both are pretty epic!
My in-laws are pretty awesome, they give me random stuff that is actually interesting. Yesterday my dad-in-law gave me this book on the first 75 years of GM history.
So there is this really nice ‘53 Willy’s Jeep at a local dealership. I was really curious of the price, and what they are going for on the market. I finally got in contact with the dealer, who said it was “$8,500"...
It’s not the weekend yet, but we can pretend, right? Here are a bunch of cars/trucks/rvs, heading out for the weekend! As always, which is your favorite pic, and which is your favorite casting?
For the past three years, my grandpa has kept his small boat at my house. It’s heavy to move around on my own, so I decided to make a small boat trailer for it.
Went out yesterday to pick up some yarn and groceries for MrsZtp, found this at Meijer! Had to buy it, so I did!!!
I believe it was a Metropolitan. Lovely car, looks awesome, and it is so tiny!
Went grocery shopping the other day, found this amazing casting there; a GL ‘70 Ford F-100. I love early Ford trucks, they have a unique, rough and tough style, so one in Ford racing colors is especially nice!
I won’t go into details, but this month has been challenging; personally and mentally. So I thought a diorama setup with a car crash might be appropriate. As always, which is your favorite casting, and which is your favorite pic?
Right now we have three cars in our driveway; two are mine and the last one is on loan from my parents (apparently I’m the only child who will actually take care of their car). Needless to say, having three sets of car keys is annoying. So I gave them a new home.
No really, it is. A police car has pulled someone other, and both sides of the highway have to check out what’s going on. It’s actually frustrating yet really predictable. As always, which pic do you like the most, and which casting do you like?
Last night, when I was about to mount the highway diorama to the wall, I discovered I couldn’t find enough drywall anchors around the house. So I figured I should have some fun with it as is, :p.
You have to get creative. May I present, after about 10 minutes of thinking of every possible solution with things I already own, pink construction line with fishing weights attached to the end.
A four door wrangler, or whatever the model is called. Was in a convoy with a black grand Cherokee. I also thought it was funny that they put a wrap on the Jeep, then put a black bag (pretty sure that’s not the correct term) on the front and back. I guess they don’t want the face lift to be revealed too soon.
It was by far my most favorite phone call with them. Like, I annoyed and irritated someone, so I feel accomplished. A Hudson for your time and the story.
Both are the same age, 4. I pulled some flower weeds out and one/both of them decided to make the cars ‘pretty’. Not sure which one is the culprit, as I was busy talking to my brother-in-law. Major points for creativity on their behalf though. :)
