How come nobody reccomended a gen2 CTS-V? they can be had right around 30, with 560HP, a manual, in sedan form or if you’re lucky wagon form (not sure if that can be had in the price range with how rare they are). They are luxurious and also terrifying.
I always get a bit sad thinking about my true first-wrenching experience:
A month or two ago, I went out and leased an LT Cruze hatch with the Convenience package for $111/mo and no money down. (Disclaimer, I’m a GM employee so there was additional discounts) They are inexpensive to lease, and are extremely comfortable. I’m really happy with mine (coming from a 2014 cruze)
you’re looking at closer to 10k difference when you factor in what the base model ZR2 gets you (spray in bedliner, leather, your choice of flooring, heated seats). The ZR2 leaves you with very few options save dealer add-ons, whereas you need to spend some cash to get the same in a Raptor
Unfortunately this is even more true in SE Michigan. If you watch the TV ads, all of the big three offer a price, but the ad always says that the price is for “well qualified employee buyers/lessees.” To go further, generally they require a conquest or current (insert OE here) owner/lessee. Often that price also…
someone is legitimately looking for 75k for a subaru.
