Some electric and gas companies in the States provide level billing plans that work that way as well. One year, I received a $1,200 gas credit because my usage was low. What boggles my mind is that anyone thinks a greedy, profit driven system that places citizens in dire straits is tenable at this point.

The bigger narrative isn’t the collapse of Wall Street but the collapse of America itself. The entire national lie that holds up this rotten edifice finally had one too many termites chewing on the load-bearing beams.

I’m hoping the bigger narrative that takes place is the crumbling of the widely believed lie that a stock is a reflection of the performance of a company (and by extention, Wall Street is Main Street).
