Those wheels are awful.
Those wheels are awful.
This includes the TL and ILX, though he says the new Acura TLX (formerly TSX) will be better and that the Acura RLX Sport Hybrid will also not suck. Unlike Infiniti and Lexus, they aren't going to try and make Acura a global brand and will instead focus on the U.S. and China and that means better sedans.
Is there any reason that ceiling liner is sagging so badly? I call fake.
Ever had a butt cramp?
I had a 94 Civic hatchback and I was very disappointed at its snow performance as well. I had a 80 Rabbit previous to that, and was surprised how much better that VW was in the snow.
So....where or how does one learn to drive like this? I'd love to be able to pull these tricks, even if I could never do them anywhere.
Ask him what has been the most challenging product development issues he's faced as part of Infiniti's team and how he (a team of one) convinces them to see things his way when they don't see eyes-to-eye.
Friend of mine had a former cop Crown Vic and he absolutely loved it, said that driving down the road was like 'parting the Red Sea'. One time he was out of state and hurrying back home, doing 95MPH. Came over a hill and there was a cop locked on him with radar. He waved at him and the cop waved back, he continued…
I saw a pristine '83 or '84 GTI driving around (on the original 14" rims — maybe they were 15", but definitely original GTI issue) and I was in love. Very cool.
This is what happens when Nike meets Battlestar Galactica.
Fender bulge around the wheelwell is wrong. The Jeep's is more vertical leading up to the wheelwell, the culprit's flares at the last moment (more lateral) leading up to the wheelwell.
There seems to be a lot of people commenting without taking a close look at this. The wheelwell is squared off, and there is a fender bulge leading up to the wheelwell. That alone will rule out a ton of the vehicles people are suggesting. If you blow up the pic, you can also see that an intake (or some type of…
Guys, it's not the Lexus:
Actually, I think it looks worst when you're looking at the front 1/4 of the car in perspective. Massive sagging unbefitting of an AMG.
That back end is awful, especially as seen from a side profile. "Pull your pants up, son!"
And a 3-tier dash.
Yeah, it'll be tons better. It'll come with the CR-Z battery.
Moved to Wisconsin about a year ago. There are cops EVERYWHERE here, the sneaky kind that doesn't really worry about safety, instead they sit at 'gotcha' places where the speed limit is absurdly low. It can be maddening to drive on freeways here with our 65MPH limit.
Not the Accord. Taillights are too small and the 3rd brake light is in the wrong location (it would have to be in the Accord's deck lid)
My dept. head in school (industrial design) told me once that he was part of Subaru's focus group, and that he had recommended an airplane-styled intake, or something like that. I have no idea if that had any influence on the original Tribeca styling. I think it was a nice idea in concept, but in application it…
