Same 90's Merc Cougar passed through my mind when I was working on the pics. But I think the light reflections are deceiving — the reflections probably look than they really are because the camera frames are long.

Don't know how this will turn out, I took still shots and increased the exposure. I think the first frames of the video and the last moments before impact are the most telling:

Is there a way to pull still shots from YouTube? You could take them into Photoshop and increase the exposure, I think that will tell a little more about the car. So far I've only tried this using a screenprint, I don't know if that degrades the native resolution of the pic.

Nice price. This would be an awesome sleeper.

5 kids, 1 on the way, full time job on the plate.

I kinda get the feeling that Chip can tell you 'go fish'.

Looks like a Michael Bay Transformer. That's not a good thing.

I agree that changing oil every 3000 miles is a myth, although my latest car (Infiniti G35) says to replace oil every 3,750 miles, which I'm wondering if that's overkill. My last change was with Mobil 1 Synthetic Extended Performance, I'm inclined to try going up to 7k before changing (which would mean next spring.

"Two Michigan men are dead after what witnesses describe as a road rage incident gone terribly wrong."

My bad. Spanuguese.

Petrópolis. Muitas saudades dessa ciudade.

Well, we agree on 'vem'. Next word: Definitely not 'pode'. 1st of all, there is no 'j' sound in the pronunciation, as one would hear in Brazilian Portuguese for words ending in -de. 2nd, he's saying 'pra' (slang for para). There is no "pode" — no 'o' sound, no 'j' sound only the 'pr' sound (as they prounounce it

Sorry, meant to add this: Opelika, Alabama (about 5 miles east of Auburn, AL)

This one's an onramp. I-85 at Exit 60 (I think it's 60), joining I-85 southbound. About 5 miles east of Auburn. Not a heavily populated area, but you've got to take a tight curve at 20-30MPH, then you're merging uphill into traffic going 75-85MPH right away. People in Alabama don't move over for someone merging.

It's "Vem, Vem pra mim" (Come, come my way / towards me)

Yeah, he says, "Come, comy my way!". And then later "Accelerate!!!"

I have to admit, these cars looked cooler when they came out, and the more I see 'em, the less I like 'em.

The RSC looks like a gem next to this monstricity.

That thing is friggin' ugly.

I call CP. A car that old, with that low of miles, is going to have a lot of issues. I just don't believe the 240 miles thing. Even without use, those tires would be dead flat and cracked to all get out after 20 years, unless somebody is coming along and meticulously maintaining a car every 6 months that is never
