No, officers are trained to shoot for center of mass for all targets. Some officers are closeted racists and feel they should shoot POC if they feel “threatened.”

Unfortunately being trained in gun use does not mean they will not be jumpy. Think of how many people get nervous driving certain vehicles or on certain roads, even in inclement weather. 

The implication is supposed to be on protecting themselves/possessions by any means necessary being acceptable, as material possessions are philosophically deemed more important to those likeminded than the lives of the ‘others’ inhabiting America alongside them. If you are a LEO, you are typically always “on point”. In other words, you get a gun pointed at you, your training tells you to draw and fire.
