Some of these early ps5 games are really going to show how effing amazing God of War and Horizon ZD were. I’m not impressed by the visuals and “wow factor” thus far. Although, most of these are likely in development still, and might be raw, unfinished footage......but still.

hrm...I believe so, but this is a good point. I’ll have to check it out. It’s a TCL roku 6 series, so I’ve been generally impressed so far, but that would make sense if there was some lag going on. If so, this would be the first game that made that much of a difference...it’s precise for sure!

I suppose some of it could be the downgrade in quality for the purpose of internet video, but it just looks like something we already have. I guess that was my point. I expected Halo to be the flagship WOW factor tease for the new X. I just wasn’t wowed. Maybe it’s too early to tell?

haha...you are correct. I went back and loaded up the 360 halo.....and, wow. My nostalgia was inaccurate as hell. 

Interesting. I feel like the combat is fairly perfect the way it is...but what they need to fix is the timing window for standoffs after act 1, and perfect dodges. I feel like successfully pulling off these actions starts to feel like random dumb luck, instead twitch response time or skill.

Hrmm. I’m getting some warm fuzzy memories of the CE days, and how I remember that defining game.....but am I alone in thinking this doesn’t look high end enough to be considered next gen? I, personally, despise load times...so why not just skip the tips and keep them wonderful and non-existent? Seems strange to add load times just to show some tips....does anyone really read those? BL3 has the most horrendous load times (and that’s playing on a pro ps4), and I’ve never read more than maybe two of those…

I feel like almost all of these are actually BETTER this way. I need these replacement cover sleeves for my cases :)

All these things. But especially Kena....I instantly had flashbacks to Beyond Good and Evil, and how much I miss those cartoon action games. 2020 needs like 1000% more of that.
