short a sound like ah...best way i could phonetically type it was maw.

Things like this are exactly what has always bugged me about adding speech to modern games. When you have memories tied to things you have read, it’s always strange to hear someone pronounce it differently. Like, I always read mana as “maw-nuh” and so many recent games have actors saying “man-uh”. it’s just a little

Yes, it is unfortunate that the word “savage” was ever tied to any indigenous peoples, and whatever land was stolen from them by force,....but that has nothing to do with correctly using the English language. “Savage” is absolutely the correct word for both the context and tone here. It means brutal, lawless, violent,

rather than lose these games forever, they should figure out how to provide a standalone/offline version. I would have played the hell out of this, had I known about it.

only if they are fair trade and artisanal.

The perfect response, really.

The perfect response, really.

nope. I applaud all the devs that are boldly exploring mental health, loss, etc., but I have a hard time wanting to play something that feels like emotional suffocation. Games like Senua, That Dragon Cancer, and even This War of Mine, and Always Sometimes Monsters, are marvels in conveying that helpless/hopeless

Hyrulian finger strength. Do you even draw bro?

We really need a LOZ title with the big Z as the hero. Seems like right now, would be the perfect climate for a strong female lead game from the big N.

Snooze. Of all the amazing Nintendo licences to draw on, they add another FE char? Disappointing.

Good Times my friend. I wonder what old NES games would need to patch to be compliant these days...

Hrmm...sounds a little generic. Sound like women, as half the human population, should have been represented, but who knows. Seems like a case of poor PR response from the devs. Handled with a bit more class, and this could have been a non issue.

I always main a teakettle given the choice. #kettleforlife

No, not at all. I feel there should at the very least be a male/female option in multiplayer games. What I was aiming at, was how our culture is so starved for diversity/equality, that we demand it with everything now. This particular scenario, is over an older game that just got some recent spotlight...it’s not

I can see your point

I can’t agree more. Media as a whole, needs to more accurately portray the world we live in. The “hero” is not always Tom Cruise. In fact the hero is RARELY Tom Cruise.

Absolutely. Diversity needs to be something that, media as a whole improves upon, but nobody likes a token character.

Absolutely.

I agree, which is why I mentioned that I wasn’t familiar with the game. I think what I was pointing to, is we are (understandably) hungry for an accurate representation of diversity in a world that is actually diverse. The issue is, that we are so hungry, that we have begun to expect everything to check all those

Interesting for sure. It is amusing to look objectively at the majority of modern media, especially when it comes to “action” oriented tone. The heroes could almost literally be the same 5 tropes recycled over and over.
