This is an exciting and much needed update, but I wonder if this is the one that will address the tiny text? NPC names and some inventory text is absurdly small. If I were sitting at a PC and close to the screen, it wouldn’t be an issue....but for the console versions, it’s a nightmare. At least for people with bad…

agreed....that awkward humor was part of the charm. Just like spending time playing arcade games at gold saucer...ya know.....while the world was ending. Cus you know....priorities.

Man I hope not.....the off beat and quirky humor added to original feeling of this game. You cant have all grim and grit or all happy action and humor...you need that balance, and this game nailed it. I think the general draw to this title (as well as VI ) was because it was a perfect mixture of all the emotions mixed…

Agreed. The game world was one of the richest and alive that I can recall. I loved the checkpoints though, because it made me feel like I was up against something real and awful. in a war torn country run by military factions, they would “re staff” the checkpoints to maintain control. It just made me extra sneaky…

It’s funny how polarized opinions are about FC2. There are people like me that say it’s the best installment, and then others that just HATE that game. I like how sometimes games can instill such different responses from different people. It makes them feel more like art.

I get that smoking is a one way ticket to cancer land, and impressionable minds are out there, but sometimes the ESRB needs to relax. I grew up watching all the old cartoons with characters that smoked, and it didn’t make me a smoker. It’s interesting to see the politics behind game ratings and how it affects sales…

Diablo III had this issue, and it drove me insane. Plus, my eyes aren’t fantastic anyway, so yeah...no bueno.
