@KW802: Well, to start, the "oh, yeah" which implies some sort of secret insider information you possess. And to top it off, the "it was cute" that you just threw out. Face it. You're a sarcastic asshat.

@KW802: The Island of Misfit Toys is an old Christmas special.

This is pretty badass. To all the nay-sayers, this is for those of us looking for an excuse to play Rockband and a fun way to learn an instrument. Rockband is kind of fun but I'd much prefer to have all that time spent learning to do something. Believe it or not, some people are quite fine with steep learning curves.

@Sabbatai: It doesn't even tie to a device. It ties to a series of devices that all happened to use that IP address. Whether they be various computers on a router or the fact that most residential IPs are dynamic, meaning they change from time to time. There's a limited pool so we can only loan out IP addresses for

This may seem like a silly question, but what's a manual automated transmission? I know what a manual transmission is and an automatic, but now I'm simply confused.

Wait, does this sync passwords up in the cloud? If so, wow. I love the splendid novelty but at the same time I'm mildly frightened. While I'm sure Google's servers would be more secure than my desktop or any terminal I happen upon, Google's servers would also be more highly targeted. Choices choices.

@Unionhawk: Ellowell Google is totalitarian.

Oh, holy fuck. That's awesome. Google Reader is all pinned up now.

@kerowhack: OH OH! I KNOW! Give it a ZUI plugin and it will be excellent.

@kzooguy: You can do that in Compiz, too. Amusingly, my setup looks very much like a 3x3 spaces setup. I just mapped my extra mouse button to zoom out. Though, you can give it a keyboard shortcut or a corner/side, too.

I really hope there aren't any people that haven't heard of The Onion yet.

@damienriehl: Oh, no. You're just correcting LATIN. Exempli gratis isn't English, last I checked. :)

@weendex: Agreed. This article is a few years behind.

@goodywitch: Yeah, but sometimes their databases are so off that you can't use the parts.

@GBot: Evil as Apple? Thank you for pointing this out. At least I can expect rationality from Lifehacker. Gizmodo leaves a bad granny smith taste in my mouth.

Bah, where was this information when I was wallpaper hunting!? Lifehacker has had tons of articles on things I was currently working on and they're about a month late on this. Ah well. Thanks for the advice! That'll prove useful later on.
