Nothing much. Except just how profitable black women’s bodies and features are when packaged in white, but very tanned skin.

I support Foreskin too

The fun thing about these slideshows besides nothing is that when I play one video, and then skip to the next slide without stopping the video, and play a video on the next slide, it plays both videos on top of each other. In case I ever wondered what The Weeknd and Big Thief sounded like mashed up. Which I didn’t.

That Kim Petras song is like a 30 Rock parody of a pop song.

Hmm, I’d argue the essay is more about Jessica Chastain playing “strong female” roles written by men who think the way to write those roles is just to make a woman do and say everything a man would do and say.

This is a bad article and I think Jez is actually dead. I’ll miss it.

Wait til they get a load of Breaking Bad...

I don’t see the point of this piece. The show doesn’t try to depict Eric Taylor as a perfect father. He’s a guy who often puts his coaching responsibilities ahead of his familial ones, sometimes to the serious detriment of his wife and children. He’s an old-fashioned guy with a good heart but disordered priorities.

I wouldn’t mind some Matrix: Restitutions for the brain damage I received watching Matrix: Resurrections

I say all this having never once in my life slept outdoors. But I did watch “The Edge” a couple of times.

Sorry all, Shang-Chi was not good.

Also, where’s Spider-Man: No Way Home?

Absolute trash list. Where’s Dune? The Matrix as a best?!?!

edit: Also, Tomorrow War was a lot of fun, had some scary fun aliens, and had a lot of good action, I think IO9 just likes to complain about Chris Pratt.

Wasn’t there a movie about some kind of sand planet? With big worms? Something like that?

Godzilla V Kong was fantastic, best big budget kaiju action ever put on film, and yes, that includes Pacific Rim which is a very close second for me.

I’m probably gonna get a lot of flak for this opinion, and if I deserve to because my opinion is bad, I’ll accept that and try to be better, but...

Leaving “Arcane” off of this list immediately delegitimizes it.

I agree. Is it a good adaptation of the comic book? No. Is it a fun movie on its own terms? Absolutely!

I will never understand the Kate McKinnon love. I find all of her impersonations to be so grating, and just not funny.
